It is the last day of Ganpati and Raju who lives at Peru Chawl, Lower Parel, is taking his Bappa along with the other big and small Bappas, for visarjan. From their small room, through the aangan of the chawl to the roads of Mumbai that lead to the sea, Raju cradles his Bappa with both hands, whispering many words of advice, always closing with: “Be careful Bappa, be careful.”
